We will be taking a look at several short stories until November. In order for us to fully dive into a novel, it is critical that you understand the basic literary elements. Some stories we will cover include: "Thank you, Ma'am," "The Necklace," "The Cask of Amontillado," "The Most Dangerous Game," "The Scarlett Ibis," "The Gift of the Magi," and "The Interlopers." Most of these short stories you can find in the Elements of Literature text. I attached a list of literary devices you need to know and will be test on. Test date: TBD.
